The packaging and presentation are outstanding. I was impressed with how well the items were packaged, using the right size box so the products were stable, not loose. I bought 6 different scents for myself and my 2 daughters. The lotion bar is well made with quality ingredients and it’s performance shows just that. A little goes a long way, as per directions, and it’s not waxy or greasy unless you over apply. It’s easy to warm between your hands and use the amount on your hands to rub in wherever needed. Rubbing the warmed bar directly on your skin (arms and legs) can potentially cause you to over apply. It really only takes a small amount. It’s moisturizing and stays put. No need to reapply unless you wash it off. As for the scents, they are nice, not overwhelming or perfumy. The unscented bar has a very subtle natural fragrance of shea butter that disappears quickly. The Seaside Blossom is a happy light smell of the ocean breeze, one of my favorites. The Fog and Fern is exactly as the description says because you truly do think of a misty forest in a soothing way. The earthy scent is absolutely wonderful and I think this may be favorite by far. The Lavender isn’t perfumy, loud or herbal, it’s the natural smell of lavender like the flower, very nice and calming. The Mango Colada is a bright scent but not loud, it immediately evokes the thought of sitting on the beach under a coconut tree. Definitely a summer smell and a mood lifter, another favorite. The Rose Garden is lovely, not a grandma or old perfume scent, but rather walking through a rose garden with the delicate smell of flowers, and in fact my 19 year old uses and loves this. The Cucumber and Melon is not what you’d typically think. For me, the ozone, bamboo, and aloe were the top notes, with little of the cucumber and melon actually appearing, not bad but not quite what I was expecting. All in all I really like the moisturizing benefits, the ease of use, the natural ingredients, and the wonderful scents to choose from. I look forward to trying more scents and reordering the Fog and Fern because it’s amazing.
As a Needleworker and seamstress I never used hand lotion. It was too wet. The lotion bars are fantastic. The lotion absorbs fast, smells great and my hands were softer in one day. The scents are wonderful and long lasting.
